Swindling for Amateurs, again....

In this position, the correct move ( apart from resignation on Black's part :)  is Kg6.

However, since the game is technically, well actually, completely lost for me, there is only one move for the swindler : Kh5.

Happily, a greedy White player falls into the trap !

Rxf6 ??

Stalemate : its a brilliant last weapon, and so irritating in positions that are completely lost  !!!

Well spotted that Kh5 leads to stalemate after Rxf6. Well done! Offcourse after a silent Kg2 white has nothing to fear.

@chesstiger: I have become a bit more aware of stalemate chances since I lost a totally won game by falling for the same trick...

As it happens, the player was much higher-rated than me, and I was very pleased to be beating him easily, so I did not notice his moving towards a stalemate position. Very embarrassing, so I am on the lookout now...

AT least you cam say that I learned !
