This is from a blitz game, so I will freely admit it wasn't spotted and planned, however as soon as I played Nf5, I saw the possible mate.
Black's Rg4 sealed his fate, and suffocation mate followed.
Not sure I've managed this type of mate before.

It's amazing how strong a knight on f5 can be. I recently ran across a quote from Kasparov on how having one there is worth at least a pawn. Of course it was worth a lot more than that here.
@chessadmin: These days, I find that the more checkmate patterns I train, the the more often I see them and their "related" patterns. This shouldn't be unusual, as the more patterns one knows then its only natural that they appear in your games.
If the opponent spots them, fine, they survive another move, however often the mate pattern comes with a tempo which is helpful and sometimes even a multiple attack, which can be game-changing.
Seeing a mate pattern isn't just playing for mate !
